Dublin, like every city, has hundreds of Christmas Events planned for the festive season of 2023. At the Arthaus we look forward to welcoming event goers, guests, and residents to our hotel. The Arthaus is a boutique 4 Star hotel located in Dublin city centre near St. Stephen’s Green and Grafton Street. The perfect base to discover Dublin’s Christmas Events and cultural locations.

Like many years, the Xmas season sneaks up and those gigs, shows, talks, and tours all get forgotten about. This year we are publishing our comprehensive event guide for Christmas in Dublin. With this handy update, you will not miss those magic nights in Dublin’s fair city.

The Arthaus is a short trip from some of Dublin’s favourite culture destinations. Just a two-minute walk to the Gaiety theatre, where you can find the 150th anniversary pantomime. Stroll further along to the National Concert Hall to discover the Sound of Music.

Cultural Attractions Near the Arthaus Hotel

Culture in Dublin has never stopped shining, we proudly stand behind the 165 cultural attractions in the city. With a few attractions opening and closing each year, we can never really be certain on there being only 165.

The Arthaus Hotel is centrally located to the Gaiety Theatre, The Little Museum of Dublin, and the Museum of Literature Ireland.

An unparalleled experience has been part of Christmas Events in Dublin for decades. Recently, a new home has been found for the live crib in St Stephen’s Green. The traditional Nativity scene will also feature a donkey, two sheep and a goat.

While a little further out, the National Print Museum offers art lovers a unique experience in discovering how literature was printed from 15th century all the way up to the 1980s. In October 2023, the temporary exhibition “Miniature Masterpieces: 100 Years of Irish Stamps” will open through the festive period.

Want to get into the festive spirit and do something fun with all the family? Drop by the ‘Creative Corner’ in December! There will be a variety of holiday-themed crafts available in the National Print Museum’s Creative Corner. Available during regular opening hours, Tuesday 5 December - Friday 22 December.

In the Gardens, there are stalls both indoors and outdoors against the backdrop of the historic glasshouses. You will find over seventy stalls featuring an array of sustainable gift ideas, decorative craft, and tasty seasonal treats.
